Why should I join?

​

Empower to Change is a platform that's 100% committed to reimagining a political system that's restorative and committed to enacting systemic change through supporting grassroots activism, elections, and digital activism.

 

On the Partnerships team, we also provide real-life work experience by utilizing softwares and technology such as Asana and Google Suite. We believe that investing in our members means investing in the most up-to-date and relevant technologies for project management and sales jobs in the workforce today.

Are these roles paid?

​

As of now, all roles are part-time and are unpaid. However, once the organization establishes itself financially, fair and equitable wages in accordance with state minimum wage laws will be paid to all internal team members.

​

What does the time commitment to join look like? 

​

We will be flexible in accommodating to people's personal and financial obligations by meeting once a month virtually on a weekend. However, this varies depending on each position's designated responsibilities.

What if I want to join but don't see a role that aligns with what I'm looking for? 

​

Even better! Empower to Change prides itself on fostering a culture with a growth mindset, and welcomes new ideas. We will then get back to you on whether or not this role fits with the organization's needs at the time you write to us.
